Two years, every Thursday
Thu 7 Jan 2027 to Thu 28 Dec 2028 · 14:00-16:30
A competency-based, two-year programme for doctors who look after critically ill adults. Each year has 12 blocks of weekly masterclasses, case defence, simulation and procedural skills, and ends with a final integrated assessment. Year 2 follows the same blocks at an advanced level. Course director: Dr Moiz Adamji.
How each week works
- The day before: you get a reminder email with the topic, reading and assignment.
- Before Thursday: 30 to 60 minutes of directed reading and the short pre-quiz.
- On Thursday: check in with the code shown in the room, then the masterclass, case defence and skills.
- Your facilitator records your weekly assignment and quiz. Keep your logbook up to date in the app.
Attendance: 90% minimum
If your attendance falls below 90%, you will be asked to see Dr Moiz, who decides the way forward with you. Tell us in advance if you cannot attend.
