One short, practical ICU tip every morning from Dr. Moiz Adamji — free, no account needed.
Cirrhotic patients have little muscle, so creatinine is falsely low: 100 µmol/L can hide a GFR of 30. Treat any rise of 26 µmol/L or more as real AKI and act. Stop diuretics and NSAIDs, give albumin 1 g/kg (max 100 g), and tap the ascites in every admitted cirrhotic to look for SBP.
