Head of ICU and Quality Assurance, Lumumba Regional Referral Hospital, Zanzibar
Dr Moiz Adamji is an emergency medicine and critical care physician with a decade of experience caring for the sickest patients, from the first minutes in the emergency department to the long days and nights in intensive care.
He is Head of the Intensive Care Unit and Head of Quality Assurance at Lumumba Regional Referral Hospital (LRRH) in Zanzibar, where he leads the ICU team and the hospital's work on safer, more consistent care.
Through EMTUPO he teaches doctors, nurses and clinical officers the practical side of emergency and critical care: what to do first, the bedside tricks that make a difference, and the traps that hurt patients. That teaching runs through live courses, simulation, the ICU Academy app, a free daily tip and his books.
