1. Who we are

EM TUPO ICU Academy ("the App") is an educational platform for healthcare professionals learning intensive care medicine. It is operated by Dr. Moiz Adamji ("we", "us"). Contact: adamjimoiz@gmail.com.

2. What the App is not

The App is a training resource. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and must not be used to make decisions about real patients. Practice cases are simulations. Do not enter real patient names, hospital numbers or other identifiable patient information anywhere in the App.

3. Information we collect

Account data: your name, email address and password (stored hashed by our platform provider), and your role (learner or admin).
Learning data: logbook entries, course progress, quiz and assessment results, notes you write on topics, practice-case records you create (ABG, hemodynamic, sedation and code-blue simulations) and calculator results you choose to save.
Chat: messages, photos and videos you send in the in-app chat with the Academy lead. These are stored so the conversation can be read on both sides; they are not shared with other learners. Voice notes are not supported. Do not send real patient identifiers.
Teaching-session data: when you register for or attend a session, your name, email, profession, registration number (if provided) and attendance record, used to issue certificates.
Technical data: basic usage analytics (pages visited, device type) collected by our hosting platform, Base44, to keep the App running and secure.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, health data from your device, or payment details. The App contains no in-app purchases.

4. How we use it

To provide the learning features, save your progress and show it back to you.
To issue and verify teaching-session certificates.
To send you emails you request (certificates, session reminders, logbook notifications).
To keep the App secure and improve its content.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

5. Sharing

Your data is processed by Base44 (hosting, authentication, database) and, where you or an admin use those features, by Google (Gmail for certificate emails, Google Sheets/Drive for exporting session attendance or code-blue debriefs). Certificate verification pages show the certificate holder's name and session details to anyone who scans the certificate code. Admins can see learner progress and logbook entries to support supervision.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings & Account → Delete my account in the App, or by emailing adamjimoiz@gmail.com. Deletion removes your account and personal learning records within 30 days. Issued certificates may be retained in anonymised audit logs where required for CME accreditation.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. Email us to exercise these rights.

8. Children

The App is intended for healthcare professionals and students aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored by Base44 with access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced in the App.
