Educational use only. EM TUPO ICU Academy is a training resource for healthcare professionals. It does not provide medical advice and does not replace clinical judgement, senior review or your hospital's protocols. Practice cases are simulations: never enter real patient identifiers.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using EM TUPO ICU Academy ("the App") you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Educational purpose and medical disclaimer

The App provides educational content for healthcare professionals: curriculum topics, reference material, calculators, drug and antibiotic guides, protocols, checklists and simulated practice cases.

  • The App does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for clinical training, supervision, senior review, or your institution's own guidelines and formularies.
  • Drug doses, calculator outputs and protocol steps are provided for learning. Always verify against current, locally approved references before any clinical use.
  • Practice cases are simulations. You must not enter real patient identifiable information into the App.
  • The App is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Admin roles are assigned by the App operator.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content; enter real patient data; attempt to access other users' data; scrape, copy or redistribute the App's content commercially; or interfere with the App's operation.

5. Content and intellectual property

Curriculum content, reference material and the App's design are owned by the operator or used under licence. You may use them for your personal education. Content you create (logbook entries, notes, practice cases) remains yours; you grant us a licence to store and display it to provide the App.

6. Teaching sessions and certificates

Attendance certificates are issued by the session organiser based on recorded attendance. Certificates confirm participation only; accreditation and recognition are determined by the relevant professional bodies.

7. Third-party services

The App is hosted on Base44 and may link to or embed external resources (for example the Zanzibar clinical pathway app). We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.

8. No warranty and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the App or its content, including any clinical decision made with reference to it.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings & Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
